Good news to all Syndicate bank account holders having ATM cum Debt card. Your Debt card can now be used for online transactions such as shopping,bill payments,etc. To avail this facility you need to enable internet transaction facility for your Debt card.
To enable this facility, go to www.syndicatebank.in and click on Verified by VISA link. In the new window click on Debt card registration and then enter your card number, name as on the card,CVV Number,e-mail,and ATM pin number. Now enter your desired password for verified by VISA service. This password is used for payments so keep it as secret. Now you can use your Debt card for online payments.
CCAvennue and Billdesk are the supported payment gateways. Many sites such as bsnl.com support it. However you can also use it in other websites such as www.ebay.in. In short you can use your Debt card for payments in any websites which provide options for VISA Debt card payment. I have personally used this on ebay and oxycash with success.
